Past Employment:

Ms. Hornecker spent 10 years as a scientific researcher prior to entering the legal field. With a focus in developmental biology, Ms. Hornecker conducted research in various areas, including stem cell biology, and authored several publications. After transitioning to the practice of law, Ms. Hornecker held a position with the Bexar County Staff Attorney’s Office, providing legal assistance to Bexar County’s 14 Civil District Court Judges and the Presiding Court. Ms. Hornecker began as a contract attorney with Speights & Worrich in 2013 and was made an associate attorney the following year.
